IEC60309-1 Plug Socket-outlet an Coupler Pendulum Impact Test Apparatus
1. Introduction
The Impact test apparatus is strictly designed according to IEC60309-1 figure 7 and annex A, it is applied to test the mechanical strength for plug, socket-outlet and coupler. The impact test apparatus is consisted by a pivot, a tubular steel shaft, a shaft end, a hammer and four 0.25kg mass.
2. Parameters
Test structure | Back board: 20mm plywood (fixed on wall) Pendulum support structure: travels in X, Y, Z =300mm |
Operation mode | Manual control |
Impact height | 0.5kg mass: the distance from top of aluminum pivot to hammer impact center is 1059mm 1.0kg mass: the distance from top of aluminum pivot to hammer impact center is 1031mm |
Configuration | Aluminum pivot: 32*25*45mm Pendulum shaft: Φ10*1.0mm, made by steel tube Pendulum shaft end: 19*19*120mm, made by steel Pendulum masses: 0.25kg*4, Φ50*16mm, made by steel Pendulum anvil: Φ50*30.5mm, made by steel Mounting plate: 300*300*8mm (3 pieces), made by steel Release angle (Angle gauges): equip with 250, 350, 360, 420, 470, 520 (6 pieces) |
Note: All stroke adjustment methods are completed by linear slides |
Impact test release angle:
Impact level (J) | Mass used (kg) | Release angle (Degrees from vertical) |
1 | 0.5kg | 250 |
