IEC60335-2-11 Surface Temperature Measuring Probe for Tumble Dryers

1. Introduction

The probe for measuring surface temperature is designed according to the requirement of IEC60335-2-11 figure 101 and IEC6335-2-6. It’s mainly used to test the temperature rise of the front and side of the cooker, oven and tumble dryers, 4N force is applied according to the standard.

2. Parameters

Copper Sheet Φ5mm*0.5mm (thickness)
Thermocouple Φ0.3mm, K type made by OMEGA
Insulated Pipe Polycarbonate, inner diameter 3 mm, outer diameter 5 mm
Handle With 4N thruster

3. Usage

1) . The test shall be carried out after the test corner test is completed.

2) . The equipment under test should be powered for 60mins or it reaches a steady state before test.

3) . The top of the probe was pressed against the surface of the device under test, and a 4 N force should be applied until the temperature was stable.
