IP5X and IP6X Dust Test Chamber with Vacuum System, PLC and Touch Screen Control
1. Introduction
The dust chamber is controlled by 7 inch touch screen and PLC system, the interior of the cabinet is equipped with lighting and power supply, which can be used for live dust-proof test of the sample to simulate a more realistic use environment. There is a mesh sample support plate inside the box for dust recycling, it is made of stainless steel and has a load capacity of 50KG.
The sand and dust test chamber helps to evaluate the ability of the equipment to withstand the effects of dust, it is apply to test various auto parts includes lamps, instrument, electric dust cover, steering system, door lock and etc., as well as inspection of product sealing performance. Meet the test requirement of IP5X and IP6X enclosure protection levels as specified in IEC60529.
IP5X test: the protection is satisfactory if the power has no accumulated in a quality which may interface the correct operation and cause harmful to equipment.
IP6X test: the protection is satisfactory if no deposit of dust is observable inside the enclosure at the end of the test.
2. Features:
● Applied for IP5X and IP6X Test
● Adopts LCD color display and touch screen. The PLC is made by Panasonic.
● The shell of the equipment adopts high quality steel, sprayed with stoving varnish. And inner box and sample holder are made of stainless steel to make sure rustless for long time use.
● Sand and dust: talcum powder, dry powder, portland cement paste and etc.
● Control system: adopt Programmable Time Controller.
● There is a device for replacing the dust at the bottom of the device, which can easily replace the used dust 100%.
● Vacuum system: equipped with vacuum pump, vacuum pressure, air filter, flow meter, pressure regulating triple piece, connecting pipe.
● In order to ensure that the dust does not stick to the wall of the box and condense, a special device is installed. The working time of the device is adjustable, and it can work alternately automatically.
● There is an exhaust pipe in the box, which can complete the vacuuming of the sample (the sample needs to be reserved for the exhaust hole).
● Heating system: A heater is installed in the circulating air duct to heat the dust and avoid dust condensation,
● Transparent observation window made of toughened glass material, working chamber equipped with LED lighting.
● Support live test, a socket is attached on the wall of working chamber, the sample can be powered on or off during the test.
● Safety device: leakage protection, overheat protection
● Accessory: 2KG talcum powder and a metal square-meshed sieve (nominal wire diameter 50μm and nominal width of a gap between wires 75μm) will be shipped together with the chamber, the talcum powder can be used for 20 times
