IEC60598-1 Clause 4.14.1 Test B Suspended Luminaire Torque Test Device
1. Introduction
The suspended luminaire torque test device is designed to meet the test requirement of IEC60598-1 clause 4.14.1 (test B), the test device is applied to assess whether the mechanical suspended device of rigid suspension luminaire has sufficient safety factor under the effect of constant torque force. The torque time and torque angle can be display at real time, the device adopts precision torque sensor and stepping motor, and controlled by PLC.
Test requirement: A torque of 2.5Nm is applied to the luminaires for a period of 1 min, first in a clockwise and then in an anticlockwise direction. For the test, it shall not be possible to rotate the luminaire relative to the fixed part by more than one revolution in either direction.
