LOI-A Fully Automatic ASTM D 2863 Limited Oxygen Index LOI Analyzer
Introduction:
It is designed to test combustibility by oxygen concentration, letting the user know the minimum oxygen concentration as necessary for combustion.
The working principle is to place the specimen into the testing chimney, fill it with oxygen and nitrogen into the chimney, burn the specimen, and then measure the minimum concentration of oxygen to support continuous combustion.
Reference Standards:
- ASTM: ASTM D2863: Standard Test Method for Measuring the Minimum Oxygen Concentration to Support Candle-Like Combustion of Plastics (Oxygen Index).
- ISO: ISO 4589-2: Determining the minimum volume fraction of oxygen in admixture with nitrogen will support the combustion of small vertical test specimens under specified test conditions. The results are defined as oxygen index (OI) values.
- NES: NES 714.

Features:
- Adopts England's original Servomex Paramagnetic type oxygen sensor, which accuracy can be up to +/-0.1%;
