Introduction:

VF-45 CFR 1610 Clothing Textiles Flammability Testing Apparatus provides methods of testing the flammability of clothing and textiles intended to be used for clothing, establishes three classes of flammability, sets forth the requirements which textiles shall meet to be classified, and warns against the use of those textiles which have burning characteristics unsuitable for clothing.

  • Determine the burning characteristics of textiles under controlled conditions.
  • Stainless steel test cabinet with glass observation panel.
  • Provided with automatic timing of flame spread in 0.1 second increments from ignition.
  • Automatic flame impingement for 1,5 or 20 seconds.
  • Brushing Device including Nylon Brush is available per request.
