DERS-4W is a microprocessor-controlled digital self-encourage and magnetic control system, its

high-performance voltage and current regulation of the disturbance can be made precise and rapid response, control accuracy <0.5 percent.With the industrial computer touch screen, it can show all kinds of real-time operating parameters and fault information, on-line modification to the system operating parameters.All functions achieve by the corresponding software modules.

Excitation system provides the following major software modules:


- PID manner by the voltage regulator (Auto)
- PI manner by the exciting current regulator (manual)
- Reactive compensation (for poor areas ± 15%)
- The most exciting current restrictions and protection
- The most exciting current restrictions instantaneous
- Low exciting restrictions and protection
- the largest stator current restrictions and protection
- V/Hz restrictions and protection
- Constant power factor or constant reactive power adjustment (optional)
- PSS functions(optional)
- Soft-start exciting function, smooth adjustment to prevent the generator voltage overshoot
- Automatic tracking control
- With over-current, PT disconnected, CT break, misuse strong encouragement and misuse strong monitoring

and protection system
- Fault records.
- The watchdog function and self-inspection
- On-line display and editing features
- CAN network and a host computer communication
- WINDOWS-based software and debug tools (optional)
