Color electrophoretic coating of aluminum is a novel surface treatment process. It uses electrochemical methods to deposit colloidal particles of organic resins on parts to form transparent or organic coatings of various colors. According to the different charged conditions of the resin particles in the electrophoretic paint after ionization, it can be divided into anodic electrophoresis (resin particles become negative ions after ionization) and cathodic electrophoresis (resin particles become positive ions after ionization).

The electrophoretic coating has excellent corrosion resistance (can pass the neutral salt spray test for more than 400 hours), strong discoloration resistance; good bonding force with the base metal, and can be processed by various mechanical processes; the coating has bright colors, according to The requirements of users can be formulated into various colors, the common ones are gold, brown, gun color, black, etc. Compared with paint, the construction performance is better, and the pollution and harm to the environment are small. Cathodic electrocoating is a complex electrochemical and colloidal chemical process. Electrophoretic paint itself is a multi-component system of colloid and suspension, and there are two components of disperse phase (resin, pigment particles) and continuous phase (water). Four processes of cathodic electrophoresis:

1. Electrophoresis Positively charged water-soluble resin particles and their adsorbed pigments move toward the cathode.

2. Electrodeposition: The positively charged resin particles reach the surface of the part (cathode) and discharge to form a water-insoluble deposition layer, which is baked to form a paint film.

3. The electroosmotic water is dialysised out from the sedimentary layer. When the water content drops to 5%-15%, it can be baked.

4. Electrolyzed water is electrolyzed by direct current to release hydrogen and oxygen. Due to electrolysis, the permeability decreases, which affects the appearance of the paint film, reduces the adhesion of the paint film, and increases power consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to weaken the electrolysis of water.

Degreasing—>Descale—>Chromating—>Electrophoresis—>Drying—>Packaging

Q: What is the thickness of the anodizing? Can you do 12um?
A: Our normal thickness is about 10 um. Yes, we can do 15 microns and above.

Q: What colors can powder coatings be used for? The thickness of the powder coat?
A: We can do any color for powder coating as long as you can provide color samples. Our usual powder coating thickness is 60-80um.

Q: What color can the wood grain be?
