Accuracy Assurance: Usually steel roller has critical requirements on the run-out, concentricity and cylindricity - that's why precision grinding as the final step is a must for qualified steel rolls if cylindricity 0.01mm needed. Our workshop is equipped with 4 grinding machines including 6,000mm CNC grinding machine, which can reach 0.001 inch in cylindricity.

Balancing: Static balancing is applied to all rollers production and dynamic balancing is also a must for high speed working roller.

Heat Treatment: Steel shaft roller body could be annealed or hardened if needed.

Surface Coating: Steel rolls could be painted, zinc plated, chrome coated, rubber coated, Teflon coated, electroless nickel plated, Tungsten Carbide coated, plasma coating, thermal spray coating etc., depending on the applications.

Packaging: Well-designed packaging is also very important for precision industrial steel drum rollers, otherwise rollers may be damaged in the loading/unloading process and transportation.

Production Process:

1. The material of the roller body is generally selected from high-quality seamless steel tubes (special materials can be customized according to user needs). After boring and grinding the inner hole, the thickness of the tube wall is uniform, and then it is made by welding, stress relief treatment, turning, grinding, and finishing;

2. Correct the static balance and dynamic balance treatment; the coaxiality of the finished roller ≤0.02mm;

3. According to the pattern, different processing techniques are adopted to achieve a clear pattern, exquisite pattern, rich levels and precise size of the extruded product.

4. The final surface is plated with hard chrome or other treatments, and the hardness can reach HRC58-62.
