Bag dust collectors are an effective way of filtering dust-containing gas by using textile filter cloth or non-textile felt filter bags. These bags take advantage of the filtering effect of fiber fabrics to retain dust particles. When the dust-containing gas enters the bag dust collector, larger particles and heavy dust settle down due to gravity and fall into the ash hopper. Finer dust particles are retained in the filter bag, effectively treating the dust.

The dust-containing gas first travels through the guide plate, where the velocity of the gas is reduced, and coarse dust particles fall into the ash hopper. The remaining fine dust particles enter the filter bag chamber with the gas. Due to various effects of the filter material fiber and fabric, such as inertia, barrier, hooking, and static electricity, the dust is retained in the filter bag. Purified gas escapes through the exhaust pipe. The dust accumulated on the filter bag is removed through various methods, including gas backwashing or pulse airflow cleaning.

These features make bag dust collectors a reliable and efficient way to filter dust-containing gas.
