Known as deep cast resins, cast epoxies are used for casts up to 2 inches thick. Casting epoxies are commonly used for river beds, embedding and encasing objects, jewelry, and more. It has a lower viscosity than desktop epoxies and a slower cure rate of 24-36 hours. The longer the curing time of the pouring epoxy, the longer the working time, but care must be taken to keep dust and debris from getting into the resin. Crekoat Epoxy contains no Volatile Organic Compounds or VOCs. That means a safer and healthier work environment when you're stirring, pouring and spreading. And, since the hardener ingredients are BPA-free, tabletops are better suited for limited food contact.
