Quick Details:
When formulated in coatings, polyaspartics possess properties that fall between polyurethane and epoxy coatings systems. In other words, they are hard enough to resist scratches, yet flexible enough to absorb moderate impacts. These properties make polyaspartic coatings ideal for areas with medium to heavy foot traffic, such as airports, malls, hospitals, shopping centers, etc.
Another benefit of this material is its customizability. Polyaspartic esters can be added to coating formulations to manipulate drying times and pot life. This allows some polyaspartic coated floors to be returned to service as early as the next day.
Features:
1. Fast cure times with excellent adhesion
2. Low Odor, No VOC
3. Superior chemical resistance
4. Superior abrasion resistance
5. Nonyellowing and good gloss retention
6. Easy to mix 1:1 ratio by volume
Advantages:
The cross linking of the Polyaspartic series film in the cure makes it exceptionally tough and durable, making it four times more abrasion resistant than normal epoxy. The chemistry is based upon polyaspartic and much attention has been given to the application and installation attributes in its formulation. As a result, the Polyaspartic clear topcoat is extremely user friendly without having sacrificed the performance of the finished floor coating product. The applications for this product are almost limitless. Polyaspartic is suited for use on high-end residential flooring applications, retail floor settings with high traffic, or food service floor areas where stain resistance and cleanability are paramount.
