The cabinet is large but easier to maintain. Medium case is large, but maintenance is more convenient. Ring case is small, but maintenance is not convenient.(Schneider SM6 now has a high voltage loop switch cabinet with special SFset circuit breaker. SGN1A-12(Z) small fixed separator, developed jointly, can achieve the basic function of medium case using ABB LEG(Z1)-12 circuit breaker, but the ring net case or small fixed compartment can be set up as a low voltage circuit breaker. Only according to the fixed mode of installation, so that when the circuit breaker failure, need to be replaced immediately, not only need to cut off the upper power supply, but also trouble to replace. It is convenient to replace the handcar switch. So the current ring net cabinet is generally made maintenance free, but the cost is higher. For opening and closing stations, power substations, such as large power, the more important load to use the cabinet to protect. At present, Wuhan city according to the current power supply department requirements, generally choose ring cabinet, the installation capacity of the Transformer with its general requirements to control within 1250 KVA .
