EPS moulds are typically made from aluminum or steel. They are designed and machined to create the desired shape and size of the final product. The moulds are used in a manufacturing process called "molding" or "moulding," where expanded polystyrene beads are heated and then injected into the moulds. The heat causes the beads to fuse together and expand, conforming to the shape of the mould.
Once the expanded polystyrene has cooled and solidified within the mould, it can be removed, leaving behind the finished product. The moulds can be reused multiple times to produce consistent and accurate shapes.
