KD8833 is an adhesive Kaptan Tape of polyimide film-backed Kapton silicone rubber featuring outstanding heat resistance and low static discharge properties.

Low electrostatic discharge during unwind and removal operations.

Remarkably resistant to high temperature exposure of up to 280o for 10 minutes.

Excellent Tensile Strength and Elongation characteristics.

Application of RoHS compliant mask for printed circuit boards undergoing wave solder and solder dip processes.

Masking contacts prior to spray painting, powder coating & solder coating processes as well as bundling transformers is important in protecting their contacts from possible damages caused by these processes.

Bundling motors, batteries & electronic components together for transport makes transport simpler.

Storage Conditions for Initial Inventory When stored initially as intended, an ideal set of conditions are 10-30deg F and 40-70% relative humidity for 12 months of shelf life when initially placed into storage.

Packing should always take place on surfaces which are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or any other contamination; when applying material using roller, hand or press pressure with appropriate force; repeated sticking should be avoided to maintain adhesion levels rather than decrease them further.
