Product Overview

The WPG Combined Dissolved Air Flotation System is a next-generation water treatment solution that integrates dissolved air flotation (DAF) with enhanced flocculation and high-efficiency sedimentation. By introducing micron-level quartz sand as a carrier, the system significantly strengthens the flocculation process, accelerates sedimentation, and improves contaminant removal efficiency.

This highly integrated system is designed for overflow pollution control, municipal sewage plant tailwater improvement, and water plant pre-treatment. With a compact footprint and low operating costs, it ensures consistent and stable effluent quality while meeting stringent discharge standards.

How It Works

  1. Dosing and Coagulation

    • Coagulants and flocculants are added to the raw water to form flocs.

  2. Micro-Sand Enhanced Flocculation

    • Micron-level quartz sand strengthens the floc structure and increases the sedimentation rate.

  3. Efficient Sedimentation

    • The sedimentation section achieves a high surface load of 40–65 m³/m²·h with a total residence time of less than 20 minutes.

  4. Mud-Sand Separation and Recycling

    • The system efficiently separates sludge from micro sand and recycles the sand for continuous use.

  5. Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)

    • Microbubbles (5–10 μm) attach to flocs, increasing buoyancy and accelerating the separation of suspended particles and contaminants.
