details
1)Q. Is it possible to mount this charger on a wall?
A: Yes,you can install it on the wall or place it on the floor.
2)Q. Can it work as a portable power bank charger ? Like can It be charged without the car so I can take it on the go and charge away from home?
A: This is a EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). Electric Vehicles chargers are built into the vehicle. Using two-way communication between the EVSE and car's charger, the correct charging current is set based on the maximum current the EVSE can provide as well as the maximum current the car's charger can receive.
As part of the protocol, a safety lock-out exists, preventing current from flowing when the EVSE is not connected to the car. It ensures that if a cable is not correctly inserted, power will not flow through it.
EVSE can also detect hardware faults, disconnecting the power and preventing battery damage, electrical shorts or worse still, fire. So no, you can't use it that way.
3)Q: Will this charger respect the charge preferences set on a Tesla Model 3 (stopping at 90%, for example)?
A: Just use a Tesla charging cable. You need the Tesla car adapter anyway.
4)Q: Does the plug j1772 need to be indoor use? Or it can be outdoor use? (Controller unit is installed indoor)
A: It would help to clarify your question. Are you plugging in to a 220 socket indoors and extending the cord through a window or door outside to an electric car? That sounds awkward but not necessarily unsafe. Our 220 socket is outdoors in metal box with a door on it, and with a hood over it also. But the cord itself is waterproof from end to end. You can recharge your car safely in the rain but try to keep the car end of the cord as dry as possible.
5)Q: Does it come with a warranty?
A: Thank you for asking. Yes, it is covered with 2-year warranty and US local customer service. You can contact us anytime when have problems with the products.
