1. Equipment structure and technical:
Inner chamber size (mm): 2000×2000×3000 (Widthx DepthxHeight), can be customized
External size (mm): 2700×2300×4200 (Widthx DepthxHeight), subject to actual size.
Gate: double open door (with observation window on each door), single door size: W900mm*H2500mm.
There is a rail to transport the sample (note: client may need a forklift to transfer the heavy specimen on the rail firstly), and can withstand 1 ton of the specimen.

2. Talc powder should be filtered through a metal mesh. The wire diameter is 50μm and the mesh size is 75μm. The amount of talc powder is 2kg per cubic meter of the test chamber, and the number of uses shall not exceed 20 times. The system is able to maintain a uniform density of suspended dust in the test chamber.
3. The shell of the test subject is placed in the test chamber. The pressure in the shell should be kept below atmospheric pressure by the vacuum pump. The air pressure in the test chamber can also be changed to achieve periodic changes of the pressure in the test chamber.
4. The purpose of the test is to use the pressure difference to draw the air in the chamber into the equipment. The pumping volume is 80 times the volume of the DUT shell, and the pumping speed does not exceed 60 times the shell volume per hour. Under no circumstances should the pressure difference exceed 2kPa.
5. The instrument have an emergency stop device to ensure safety when the test is abnormal.
6. The lid (door) of the sealed test chamber is sealed reliably. The inner wall of the test chamber is made of conductive material and grounded to avoid the accumulation of static electricity.
7. The system has the function of dust recovery and treatment after the test.
Equipment Overview
The sand dust test chamber is suitable for sealing parts and enclosure’s sand and dust resistance capacity testing of the electrical and electronic products, car and motorcycles spare parts and seals. In order to detect the use, storage, transport performance of the electrical and electronic products, car and motorcycles spare parts and seals under the sand and dust environment.
The test equipment uses intelligent and humanized PLC control system, the inner of the test equipment is made of high quality 201 stainless steel, middle is insulation layer, the enclosure is color steel plates. And it also has large observation window and manual wiper device. The security protection is good.
The sand and dust test chamber is designed and manufactured according to IEC60529 Fig 2 IP5X and IP6X.
