DIN40050-9 Open-Type IPX9K High-Pressure Water Resistance Test System
Complied Standards & Clauses
Conforms to IEC60529, DIN40050-9, ISO20653, and other standards.
Equipment Overview
The main specimens of this equipment: are passenger cars, buses, lamps, motorcycles, and other vehicles and their parts.
This equipment can simulate the cleaning process conditions of high pressure/steam jet cleaning to test the physical and other related properties of the specimens.
After the test, it can be judged whether the performance of the product meets the requirements. It is convenient for product design, improvement, verification, and factory inspection.
Technical Parameters

User site requirements | 1) 6m wide × 4.5m deep × 3m high (users are responsible for the glass room and drainage trough). Please provide the site layout. 2) The user's room needs to have a waterproof system. The floor is paved with high-quality non-slip tiles and can be fixed with bolts. It also has waterproof and anti-penetration effects. The surroundings and top of the room must have waterproof effects. 3) Requirements for drainage troughs around the room: The drainage trough is 200mm wide and 200mm deep. One high and one low inclined. Ensure that the drainage outlet is 200mm deep. Cement board or stainless steel plate is laid on it. 4) When users decorate the room, please reserve the power connection port, water inlet and outlet, gas pipe interface, etc. |
Test sample | Maximum length, width and height ≥1200x1200x1200mm, maximum sample weight ≥80kg. |
Number of nozzles | There are 2 nozzles. One is installed on the top (vertical) to spray the top surface of the sample. The other is installed on the bottom (horizontal) to spray the plane around the sample. The spray trajectory is based on the principle of running an S-shaped trajectory. A four-way servo motor design is used to complete the 5-sided water spraying. |
Four nozzle apertures | 2.34*1.33mm (oval) |
Nozzle distance | 150-200mm |
Spray angle | The spray can cover the entire surface of the sample, and the spray angle is perpendicular to the sample surface. |
Water pressure | 8-10MPA |
Water temperature | 80℃±5℃ |
Flow meter | Electronic high pressure flow meter |
Pressure gauge | High pressure meter |
Hydraulic pipe | 3m long |
Flow rate | 15L±1/min |
Test Method | (1) The top and five surfaces of the test sample are sprayed with water in turn. (2) When the shell is tested in test a) and test b), the water temperature should be maintained at (80±5)℃. (3) For small enclosures (maximum size ≤ 250 mm): The enclosure should be installed on the test device. Rotation speed: (5±1) r/min. Spray angle: 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°. The test time for each position is 30 seconds. (4) For large enclosures (maximum size ≥ 250 mm): The enclosure should be installed according to the intended use. The entire outer surface of the enclosure will be sprayed. Spray direction: Spray from all directions to cover the entire surface of the enclosure. The spray angle should be as perpendicular to the spray surface as possible. The distance between the nozzle and the test sample under test conditions is (175±25) mm, at least 3 minutes. |
