Equipment Overview
Application: It simulates the effect of initial flames when a fire occurs near electrical and electronic devices, helping to assess the ignition risk. This test is primarily used to examine the combustibility of plastics and other non-metallic substances, solid materials, and foam plastics (with a density of at least 250kg/m³) following the ISO 845 testing method. The test is carried out in both horizontal and vertical orientations..
Test Principle: By controlling the gas flow and the duration of the flame exposure, the heat intensity applied to the sample can be regulated, allowing for the simulation and assessment of the fire hazard level.
Structure: This series of flammability test chambers features an integrated air intake automatic ignition system with a combustion delay of just 0.1 seconds, ensuring complete combustion of the gas. The chamber is constructed from steel, with a black matte finish on the interior for better visibility. It is equipped with a large observation window and an imported high-precision digital display, ensuring accurate monitoring and detection.
