Material
• Q355 is also known as A-572-50.
A-572-50 steel is required to form the shell of the bucket.
• NM400 is also known as HB400 or AR400.
AR400 steel on the sides of the bucket enhances the high impact and abrasion resistance of the bucket. In fact, the "AR" in AR400 steel stands for "Abrasian Resistant". The 400 in AR400 is a reference to the Brinell hardness of steel. If you're looking to buy an excavator bucket, ask what type of steel it's made of. Some buckets are made of T1 steel. AR400 steel is stronger and more wear-resistant than T1 steel
