What is the role of beveling the long arm plate?

The penetration depth of the commonly used welding machines in the industry is only 3mm thick. The thickness of our long arm plate is at least 8mm. If the beveling is not opened, the welder cannot penetrate the entire weld, so the welding effect will be very poor, and problems such as weld cracking will occur later.

We use mechanical beveling, while other factories use manual beveling (as shown in the figure)

Production Using High-precision Instruments

Plasma cutting machine

Plates less than 30mm thick are plasma cut, while those over 30mm are flame cut. Plasma cutting deformation is 0.1 mm.CNC plasma cutting with less panel deformation.

Double sided boring machine

Improved accuracy and consistency: Since the boring pin operations on both sides of the double-sided boring machine are performed simultaneously, the machining accuracy and consistency on both sides can be guaranteed.

• Milling machine
• responsible for milling wear-resistant blocks, positioning of pipe clamps, etc., used for boring holes. The product precision is strict, the drilling error is within 5-10um, and the precise and accurate design can make the force more balanced, thereby extending the service life.

Beveling machine

It is responsible for the beveling of the plate, which is the first process before welding. Mechanical beveling is used instead of flame beveling, and only 2mm plate thickness is reserved for beveling, so that the plate and welding material can be better welded. By beveling, the welding machine can penetrate the entire weld, and it is not easy to cause problems such as weld cracking.
