Description:

Explosion proof control stations are designed to contain and extinguish explosions, and prevent the igniting of external hazardous atmospheres by the enclosed arcing device. Available models, in sealed or unsealed enclosures, offer a variety of pushbutton, pilot light and switch configurations. Units meet Class I and II, Div 1 & 2 requirements.

Features:

Factory sealed enclosures are used:
To prevent arcing of enclosed device from causing ignition of a hazardous atmosphere external to the enclosure
In conjunction with magnetic starters or contactors for remote control of motors
Manual motor starters are used:
For manual starting of small AC/DC motors
To provide manual starting and stopping and motor running protection
