Hastelloy X features and application field overview:
The alloy is a nickel base superalloy with high iron content strengthened mainly by solid solution of chromium and molybdenum. It has good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It has medium to durable and creep strength under 900℃. It is suitable for the manufacture of combustion chamber parts and other high-temperature parts of aero-engine. It can be used for a long time below 900℃ and its short-time working temperature can reach 1080℃.
