Carbon Steel Rotary Drum Granulator For NPK Fertilizer Production Line
Introduction Of Rotary drum granulator
Rotary drum granulator is a molding machine that can manufacture materials into specific shapes. Otherwise, the barrel made of a special rubber sheet lining or acid-resistant stainless steel lining, eliminating the traditional scraper unit. Rotary drum granulator filled with steam, gaseous ammonia or phosphoric acid or nitrogen solution, phosphorus ammonia slurry, heavy calcium slurry, and then completed chemical compounding and heating compound fertilizer granulation process in the cylinder, or the cold granulation process of the compound fertilizer supplemented with a small amount of water. The material needs to granulate through the rotating motion of the cylinder and then condensed into a ball under a certain humidity and temperature to complete the ball making process.
Raw Material Of Rotary drum granulator
Urea | Single superphosphate | Kainit |
Ammonium chloride | Rock phosphate | Potassium chloride |
Ammonium sulphate nitrate | Dicalcium phosphate | Potassium sulphate |
Ammonium nitrate | Triple superphosphate | Potassium nitrate |
Feature Of Rotary drum granulator
The cylinder body adopts special stainless steel or rubber plate lining structure. It can remove scar and peel burl automatically It has the advantages of high intensity of granule, high production, erosion proof, abrasion proof, low energy consumption, long service life, convenient operation and maintenance etc.

Application Of Rotary drum granulator
Typical applications of a rotary drum granulator include, but are not limited to the following:
Agglomeration involving chemical reactions where the feed component(s) consist of reactive liquids or gases
The liquid and/or gas can be added into the bed of material to get a complete reaction and contain or reduce any emissions that may be generated
Many inorganic fertilizers are produced in this manner conversion of fine mineral ores into easy to handle agglomerates or balls for further processing. Iron ore, copper ore, and gold ore are a few examples.
Granulation where the only feed or the majority of the feed is a liquid or melt such as urea granulation
Coating of finished products by spraying a liquid onto the bed of material
Mixing drums that can mix multiple solids and/or liquids.
Specialty applications like a combination granulation-cooling drum.
