Working principle of NPK Compound Organic Fertilizer Granulating Line Rotary Dryer Machine
1. The main motor drives the triangle belt and belt pulley, and transfers to the driving shaft through the reducer. The pinion which is installed on the driving shaft engages with the gear fixed on the machine body, working in the opposite direction to make the machine work.
2. The rotary drum is slanted slightly with an angle of 2-5 degree. By the belt conveyor, the wet materials from the granulator are sent into the cylinder dryer through the feed hopper at the higher end, meanwhile the hot air produced by the hot blast stove enter into the dryer drum under the suction of the draught fan. The hot air can either enter from the feed end (known as co-current flow), or from the discharge end (known as counter-current flow).
3. With the rotation of the cylinder, the materials flow down to the lower end with the effect of gravity. The lifting plates fixed on the inner wall of the drum dryer lift the materials continuouly, forming a uniform material curtain, which fully contact with the hot air and exchange heat, the moisture is evaporated, achieving the aim of drying. The dried materials are discharged through the outlet at the lower end and sent to the cooler by the belt conveyor. The tail gas enters into the dust settling chamber.
