Ferro Manganese:The raw materials for making ferromanganese are generally manganese ore, coke, and lime containing manganese element, which are melted in a high-temperature environment and fully reacted and smelted. Ferromanganese contains coke during the smelting, so it contains a certain amount of carbon element.

Ferro manganese is a ferroalloy composed of ferro and manganese. The Mn element’s density is 7.43g/cm3, melting point is 1245℃, the boiling point is 2150℃.

Applications

1. Mainly used as alloy additives and deoxidizer in steelmaking.

3. Ferro manganese used in other industry: High carbon ferro manganese is used as reducing agent in the low carbon ferroalloys production. HC ferro manganese powder can also used in welding materials, and mineral separation. High manganese ferromanganese can used in electrical industry to produce the semiconductor pure manganese, and can used in chemical industry to produce manganese ketone.
