Ferrosilicon is an alloy composed primarily of iron (Fe) and silicon (Si). It is produced by melting a mixture of iron ore, silicon dioxide, and coke or charcoal in an electric arc furnace. Function

Inoculant: adding ferro silicon to cast iron can be used as an inoculant for nodular cast iron to prevent the formation of
