Product Description
Fiberglass chopped strand mat is a non-woven E-or C-glassfiber mat, product manufactured by spreading continuous filament roving of 50mm in length randomly and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in powder form (or other binder in emulsion form). This product is characterized by good combination of resin, easy operation, good wet strength retention, good laminate transparency and low cost.
Fiberglass chopped strand mat is made of chopped strands in 50mm length, with powder binder or emulsion binder. It is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins. The products are most widely used in hand lay-up process and can also be used in filament winding, compression molding and continuous laminating processes. The typical end-use applications include various panels, Tank, boats, FRP roofing sheet, Auto roof, bathroom equipment and cooling towers etc.
Fiberglass Surfacing Tissue is characterized as uniform fiber dispersion, smooth surface and fast resin impregnation. It is mainly used in the surface layer of FRP products of which the capability is ameliorated. It is capable of significantly improving the strength of FRP surface layer, strong impaction resistance, excellent uniformity of surface, good covering up the texture of under layers and good corrosion resistance.
