Heat-Shrink splice protectors for fusion splicer (Clear). Splice protectors are easy to apply and are designed to carry tensile, bending, and torsional loads across the splice joint.
USE
Slip onto the one of the fiber tips prior to splicing. After splicing, slide the splice protector over the spliced region and apply gentle heating to complete the process. A metal rod is included within the assembly to act as a strengthening member.
