SDH Equipment Fiberhome IBAS 180 IP / TP4 Protocol Bus Mode Adopted
Overview
This EMU /EOW card is composed of network management module and order wire module.
The order wire module processes E1 bytes in eight directions, E2 bytes in eight directions and F1 bytes in eight directions. The network management module is in charge of managing the whole SDH equipment. The network management protocol can support IP or TP4 protocol. Bus mode is adopted. The functions of order wire module and network management module are as below:
Functions of Order Wire Module
- There are two call modes: collective call and selective call;
- It provides order wire connection between all network nodes. Order wire number contains four digits ranging from 0000 to 9999 and the number resource is rich. It also supports various complicated networks and seeks route automatically;
- Each order wire card supports order wire of eight directions at most;
- Order wire protocol consists with EOW-2 protocol and supports EOW-1 order wire protocol interface;
- Support automatic detect of path status and give alarm for abnormal path. It can monitor communication status in selective call and collective call status. If the path is abnormal, it will reset the path and delete call status;
- Each order wire card offers active and backup telephone interfaces; the extension distance of backup telephone is not less than 200 meters; the active and backup telephone have the same call capability and they are in parallel connection;
- Support span section order wire;
- Provide four overhead interfaces; adopt RS232 (V.24) / RS422 (V.11) mode; support data access of eight directions and data pass through of 10 pairs.
Functions of network management module
- Support DCC path of eight directions at most; support DCCR and DCCM. DCC path data of eight directions separately accesses through HDLC interface;
- Perform configuration management, fault management; performance management and security management on behalf of management system and store the management information of equipment;
- Configuration management includes the configuration of equipment network topology structure, NE types and log function;
- Fault management refers to real-time monitoring and location of alarm and corresponding operation;
- Performance management refers to the monitoring and management of optical transmission quantitative value;
- Security management means that operation users of different levels are entitled to different operation authorities;
- Provide monitoring and software debugging interfaces (f interface), alarm interface, external monitoring interface, F interface and program download interface.
