Overview

The FONST 1000 is small-sized intelligent OTN equipment developed by FiberHome. It uses the CWDM/DWDM platform design and supports multiple services transparent transmission technology, the 1588V2 transmission and the FC service distance extension function. The FONST 1000 has abundant service access capabilities and flexible network capabilities.

  • Equipment Architecture

The FONST 1000 is mainly composed of the OTU (Optical Transponder Unit), the OADM (Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer) unit, the optical multiplexing/demultiplexing card, the OA (Optical Amplifier) unit and the NE management unit.

The FONST 1000 is mainly applied in the access and distribution layer of MAN.

The FONST 1000, in combination with FiberHome's large-capacity OTN products (FONST 3000, FONST 4000 and FONST 5000), establishes a complete OTN endto-end network. Besides that, the FOSNT 1000 can form a hybrid network with the SDH/PTN or data equipment to provide an overall transport network solution.
