GFE1 Fiberhome Citrans 550F , LCAS Multi Service Provisioning Platform 8×FE Electrical Interfaces

Overview

The functions of the GFE1 card,

  • Support 8×FE electrical interfaces & 1×GE optical interfaces and hot plug function of the optical module.

  • Bandwidth 4×VC-4; each VLAN can support up to one FE; the GE port can be used for the convergence of the remote FE port. The GE point-to-point connection only supports the rate of 100Mbit/S.

  • Support 4094 VLANs.

  • Perform Layer 2 switch function of Ethernet data packet and support MAC address learning & aging.

  • Support rapid spanning tree protocol, multicast and broadcast.

  • Support jumbo frames up to 9.6kbytes.

  • Support EPL, EVPL, EPLAN and EVPLAN services.

  • Support LCAS function.

  • Support VC12/VC3/VC4 virtual concatenation.

  • Support GFP/LAPS/HDLC encapsulation. And cross-connect level is VC-12/VC-4.

  • Support seamless switching between working and protection XCU cards.

  • Support remote on-line upgrading of FPGA and BCT software.
