Backbone fiber can be multimode, single mode or hybrid fiber, and these usually use fiber patch cord to supplement network hardware.

The second thing is its protective performance: the optical fiber patch panel should provide sufficient protection for the fiber patch cord, fiber optic connector and prevent accidental contact.

Finally, its applicability, the fiber optic path panel shall allow the removal of existing fiber patch cord and fiber optic adapter, and add new fiber optic jumper or fiber adapter, and it must also be able to store and identify optical fibers from horizontal or backbone cables.
