What functions should be with of a complete fiber optic patch panel?

1, Optical fiber cable fixed and protection function: the fiber patch panel should be with fiber cable introducing device, fixing device and protection device. The device introduces the optical fiber cable and fixes it on the fiber optic patch panel to protect the fiber core of the cable. The metal part of the optical fiber cable should be insulated from the metal patch panel. Metal sheath of the fixed cable and the reinforcing core should be reliably connected to the high pressure protective grounding device.

2, Fiber terminal connection function: the fiber optic patch panel should have an optical fiber terminal connection device. This device should be convenient for the fiber core and pigtail splice operation, construction, installation and maintenance. It is able to fix and protect the joints straight without displacement, avoid external influence, ensure the fiber core and fiber optic pigtail from damage.

The optical fiber termination device, optical fiber storage device and optical fiber connection and distribution capacity shall be configured in a full capacity range.

6, Identification and recording function: the fiber optic patch panel should have perfect identification and recording device, which can be used to identify the serial number or transmission route conveniently, and the recording device should be easy to modify and replace.

7, Optical storage function: inside the fiber optic patch panel, it should have enough space for storing the remaining fiber.
