The 10G optical module is a fiber optic transceiver that can send and receive 10G data signals per second. (2) Small size: Size of SFP+ optical module is 1/10 of XENPAK optical transceiver and same as common SFP fiber transceiver.

(3) low cost: SFP+ fiber optic transceiver can use various specifications of SFP standard, and the standard technology has been very mature, so the manufacturing cost of the new SFP+ optical module is low, and the SFP+ optical transceiver is with very low power consumption and this also helps to save cost.
