In the three kinds of management methods, the first two are strictly remote monitoring only, and the third is the real remote network management. But the third way adds CPU and increase the cost on the terminal device so the first two ways are more advantageous in cost. With the increasing demand for network management from operators, it is believed that the management of optical fiber media converter will be more practical and intelligent.
