Connection ways of optical fiber (and fiber optic cable): The main methods include permanent connection, emergency connection and removable connection.

1, Permanent optical fiber connection (also called hot melt or splicing fusion), the connection point will be totally melted and connected together by discharge method. Normally used for long distance connections, permanent or semi permanent connections. 3, Removable connection, it is to use different fiber optic connectors, fiber pigtails, fiber patch cords and so on, connecting a site with a site or site to optical cable. This method is flexible, simple, convenient and reliable. It is more widely used in buildings cabling.
