Optic Coupler Brief Introduces:
Single-mode fused biconical tapered (FBT) optical splitters are available in a wide range of split ratios to suit a variety of applications. This particular single-mode fiber coupler is available in a variety of jackets and the low profile stainless steel tube package provides bi-directional wideband performance.
FBT couplers base on the standard dual-window type. With very low PDL of less than 0.06 dB for coupling ratio 50/50,1/90 they are suited for applications where the PDL of the system is critical.
