Description

XXR Premium Fiber Optic Fusion Splice Protection Sleeves

Features:

  • Transparent sleeve for easy detection of splices before shrinking
  • Ease of use and avoid fiber damage during installation
  • Ensuring a good airtight configuration of the splice point against humidity and temperature
  • The strength members are made from grade 304 "full hard" stainless steel and have edges ground before polishing to make them completely burr-free to avoid cracking when shrinking. Even in coastal environments, grade 304 offers better corrosion resistance. Resistant to thermal shock, no cracks dripping or flowing
  • A hot-melt adhesive tube made of polyolefin-vinyl acetate copolymer is bonded to the optical fiber and a heat-shrink outer tube to effectively encapsulate the fusion splice.​
