0.5mm Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Fabric Fire Blanket Fiber Glass Cloth
Silicone Coated Fiberglass Cloth is a fiberglass cloth coated with a specially compounded silicone rubber glue on one side or both sides. The special silicone rubber coating extends the life of the base fiberglass fabric and provides special features like superior water, oil and heat resistance. They perform excellent in electrical insulation, heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance application. Rubber coated fabric is an great electrical insulator in harsh environments, has high resistance to mild alkali, non-oxidizing acids, most salts, mineral lubricating oil, air, moisture and sunlight.
This is 430gsm 3732 fiberglass base cloth and coated with 80gsm silicone coating on each side. Total weight of this coated fabric is 590g. Common width is 100cm, 127cm and 155cm.

3732 fiberglass fabric is a strong lightweight(430GSM) material. Its yarn count is G37 1/0 0.7Z. Width can be 90cm to 420cm. Thickness of 3732 fabric is only 0.4mm. It can be 0.45mm to 0.6mm after coating.
This coated 3732 fiberglass fabric is satin weave.
The 4HS(four harness satin) weave is more pliable than plain weave and it is easier to conform to curved surfaces typical in reinforced plastics. For this pattern there is a three-by-one interfacing. It is a weft yarn floats over three warp yarns and under one.
The 8HS(eight harness satin) is very similar weave to 4HS weave except that one weft yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. This is a very pliable weave and is used for forming over curved surfaces as well.
