Each capping head is driven by an independent rotary servo motor. The electronic cam completes the capping head lifting, cap grabbing and servo capping action. During the capping process, the speed and torque of each claw head are determined by the program according to the actual needs. The capping servo motor is automatically and precisely controlled by the program, with closed-loop control, and torque error self-correcting caused by the inertia.

1 Cap-sending channel

The pump cap adopts the servo motor transmission form. The servo motor has the specific advantage of performing periodic start and stop and periodic positive reversal. The cap channel adopts the servo motor to drive the belt and the chain, which can perform periodic start-stop or forward-reverse movement, not only reducing noise and eliminating cap block.

2 Bottle-in & out template

It is made of polymer polyethylene, and the surface of the bottle plate is fully fitted to the bottle type and the surface is smooth. It can not only stabilize the positioning, prevent the bottle body from being scratched; and has the function of rapid change of production(8min) and module structure.

3 Cap-grasping

The cap is fed by the servo, and the claw is taken according to the rule that the cap is placed with bottle, the cap isn’t placed without bottle, and the angle is rotated at the same time (according to the starting angle of the cap and the starting position of the bottle, to ensure that the pump nozzle will not be injured).

4 Capping function description

- Closed loop control by the servo motor and program throughout the capping process;

- automatically adjust the capping force until the set torque is reached;

- Due to the precise and flexible control of the motion drive module and program, the influence of the inertia of the capping head and the deviation of the parts can be eliminated;

- Torque switching between different products can be achieved simply by changing the set value of the program;

The electronic cam replaces the traditional mechanical cam by running a specific curve through the servo motor. Compared with the mechanical cam, the electronic cam has the following advantages:

1. The system can store multiple cam curves corresponding to different products at the same time. When changing production, only need to select the product type on the touch screen to switch the cam curve with one button, saving time and effort.

2. The cam curve can be modified, deleted and added in real time. If you add a product type later, you only need to add a cam curve without redesigning the cam.

3. The electronic cam curve is a high-order curve calculated by using advanced mathematical tools. It has better dynamic response for acceleration and deceleration, that is, the machine has less noise and more flexible motion.

4. Does not cause wear like mechanical cams.

5. The position of the lifting shaft can be monitored in real time in the system, and real-time data can be mastered. These data can also be used in the control process of the screw cap.

The machine is electrically lifted and adjusted. When the specification is changed, it only needs to be operated in the touch screen or the lift handle can realize the height adjustment, and the lift and the limit switch are limited to the specification height;

The bottle-out is a three-transport channel structure and is equipped with an intelligent detecting device;

The qualified bottle is normally transported, and the unqualified bottle (no cap, no inner tube, high cap, and the height of the crooked cap is more than 3mm) will be automatically split the flow to another conveyor belt by the swing cylinder, and the empty bottle is detected before the capping machine is inserted.

When the capping machine stops when bottle-blocking, and it resumes automatic operation after the bottle blocking is eliminated.
