Press-locked Steel Grating
Press-locked steel grating also can be called pressure locked grating, it is made of low carbon steel or stainless steel. The machine-stamped loading bars with special slots for accommodating the inserts and the pre-cut inserts themselves are pressed together by a large capacity hydraulic machine, by such way the press-locked grating is formed. The vertically arranged loading bars .and inserts produce a very uniform mesh pattern. According to the different insertion angles and insertion modes, it can be divided into four types: common type, integral type, heavy duty steel grating and louver steel grating.
Material: SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L; low carbon steel.
Surface Treatment:
1) Stainless Steel. Unless specified, stainless steel grating will have a mill finish. The heat from the electroforge process produces a discoloration to the surface of the welded area. Electro-polishing is a means to remove the discoloration and is available upon request.
2) Low Carbon Steel. Galvanized including hot dipped galvanized and electro galvanized, powder coating, painted color.
Features:
Excellent force transfer in horizontal direction and material saving
Ensure clean, even and smooth surface, adding artistic beauty to appearance
Diversified loading bar and insert pitches can satisfy various needs of customers
Enjoy the same loading capacity and mesh pattern with the electroformed welded grating
Possessing other advantages which electroforged welded grating have
Applications:
Press-locked steel grating is widely used for the floor, ceiling, platform, fence, shelf, decoration of outer wall, sun visor, bridge and inner and spiral staircases in such place:
Large-scale shopping malls.
Construction industry.
Factories. subway stations.
Offshore drilling platforms.
Ships.
Terminals.
Other industrial and civil construction.
