Power plant high temperature cloth bag pps dust filter bag is one of the most important high temperature thermoplastic polymers because of its many desirable properties.
Application of PPS fiber filter bag:
Power plants, cement, chemical and carbon black applications are some of the industries that frequently use PPS filter bags.
PPS filter bag (polyphenylene sulfide) fiber has excellent properties such as heat resistance, flame retardancy, and corrosion resistance, so it is suitable for processing into high-performance fibers.
PPS fiber filter bag processing features:
As a PPS fiber filter bag for filtration, its fiber cross-section is basically round and trilobal fibers.
Due to high crystallinity, good mechanical properties, and stable dimensions, polyphenylene sulfide fibers have little deformation during use and can fully meet the use requirements. And the textile processing performance is similar to most conventional textile fibers, easy to weave and process.
Chemical stability of PPS fiber:
PPS fiber has good chemical stability and can maintain its original performance under extremely harsh conditions. Chemical stability is second only to polytetrafluoroethylene fiber. Suitable for high-end applications in high-temperature harsh environments. The fiber can be degraded only under the action of high temperature and strong oxidant, so PPS fiber is suitable for filtration of many strong corrosive chemical media.
Temperature characteristics of PPS fiber:
PPS fiber has excellent thermal stability and excellent heat resistance. The melting point reaches 285°C, which is higher than other melt-spun fibers currently produced in industry. Therefore, it is more stable during use. Products made of PPS fiber are very difficult to burn. In the humid acidic environment, the long-term use temperature of PPS fiber is 150-170°C, the maximum use temperature is 190°C, and the service life is about 3 years.
