A finned tube is a kind of heat exchange element. It is a kind of Heat Exchanger tube to improve the heat transfer efficiency, usually by adding fins on the surface of the heat exchanger tube to increase the external surface area (or internal surface area) of the heat exchanger tube, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the heat transfer efficiency.
In the compromise of offering to our clients the best possible product with the higher performance for its function, we have the possibility of manufacturing finned tubes by laser welding for increased efficiency and higher quality.
Our Laser Finning Process allows a wider dimensional range of tube and fin combinations. Feasible height, thickness and pitch of fins go way beyond any conventional finning process.

The fins (solid or serrated) are helically wound and continuously welded to the tube by a fully automatic laser finning machine. This new laser finning process produces a perfect fin-to-tube bond with lower heat input and improved efficiency in heat flow and resistance to corrosion.
