Steel Fire Exit Doors

Steel fire exit doors shall be great helper in case of fire to win people escaping period and minimizing property damage. Fire exit doors are required to be self closing and positive latching.

Zowor steel fire exit doors comply to American standard NFPA252, CAN/ULC S104, UL10(c) and UL10(b). Fire ratings can be 30mins, 60mins, 90mins and 120mins. According to standard it shall not be fitted with vision panels into fire doors of fire grade of longer than 2 hours. That means, all of our steel fire exit doors can be insert with vision panels. Key materials of UL labeled steel fire doors are galvanized steel and honeycomb paper as filler. For gal. steel face panel, we have three options: 0.8mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm. For filler, we also provide perlite boards for your choice.

Zowor UL steel fire exit door is in thickness of 45 mm, frame depth 120 mm.

Our dimensions are standard 6 'x 7 & max. 8 'x 8' for double doors and standard 3 'x 7' and max. 4’X8 for single doors. Attention, here we mean the structural opening sizes. If you only need doors, please inform us of that.

For surface finish, we have powder coating, wood grain and PVC coating for your choice. The color scheme from us is RAL.

Reinforcements

· Top and bottom of doors shall be reinforced with continuous 16-gauge steel channels, spot welded to both sides of doors.

· Hinge reinforcements shall be 11-gauge steel angle, 12" long

· Cylindrical lock reinforcement shall be 16-gauge with 11-gauge thread depth. Other lock and closer reinforcements shall be 12-gauge.

· Doors shall be reinforced for all surface type hardware. Drilling and tapping of surface hardware to be done in the field by the erector.

· Edges of door shall be continuously seam welded, ground, and filled to ensure a smooth finish.
