UL Listed Steel Fire Exit Door with 1.5 hour

Fire exit doors, also called fire escape doors or emegency exit fire doors, are usually used as external doors of commercial and residential buildings. Different from fire rated doors which must be kept closed in case of fire, they shall be opened to let people or properties get through from inside fire to safe outside places. So normally they will be installed with emergency panic bars, also with signage "Push Bar to Open" on the door. Surface colors of steel fire exit doors shall also stand out in order to draw attention of people trpped into panic fire emergency.

Ironmongery

When we talk about ironmongery, standard kit consists of stainless steel 304 hinges, panic push bars or vertical rod device, outer override device and door closers. Options like door stopper, bottom seals and any other locks are also available.

Panic push bar here means as standard single point panic bar, two point panic bar may also be fitted to passive leaves of pair or leaf&half doors.

Galss

Vision panels can also be inserted into this type of Zowor steel fire exit doors, here we have fireproof galsses to different standard, but with same fire rating ot at least 3 hours.

Finishing Options

A large range of options are available to customise your steel fire exit door, from push bars and pads to vision panels and door closers. Our fire escape door range has an integral bonded " honeycomb core’; giving them great rigidity and preventing the steel fire door from twisting. A rock wool insulation is available as an option also.
