Self Closing Steel Fire Doors

Fire doors are one of the measures for fire separation of buildings. They are usually required to be separated from smoke and fire at the entrance of the firewall, stairs, or the opening of the pipe well. Fire doors play an important role in preventing the spread and spread of smoke and fire and reducing losses.

Standard & Certificate

Zhongwo steel fire doors are all tested in accordance with American Standard NFPA252, ULC S104, UL10(b) and UL10(c). We can provide you with UL/WHI certificate for various sizes and fire ratings.

Fire Rating

Zhongwo steel fire doors meet the requirement for up to 180 mins(20/30/60/90/150/180mins) fire rating as American standard doors.

Material

Generally we see galvanized steel sheet with thickness of 20-18-16 Ga. for sashes; and 18-16-14 Ga. Galvanized steel sheet for frames. This kind of steel sheet is environment-friendly and green without any harm to people.
As Options we offer you also 304 and 301 stainless steel which are more beautiful in surface and more durable in performance.

Infilling

Standard infilling materials by us are fireproof perlite board with different densities in harmony with various fire ratings.
We have also mineral core, honeycomb paper and polyethylene foam for your options.

Finish

As far as the surface treatment is concerned, we have different choices for you, too. Powder coating is our standard. And prime paint, wood grain finishes are basic options. By the way, prime paint means water-based paint.

Size

For pair doors popular sizes by us are 6’X7’ and max. 8’X8’.
For single doors popular sizes by us are 3’X7’ and max. 4’X8’.
Customization is also acceptable.

A. Reinforcement channel is provided.
B. Glass frame and glazing bead is steel.
C. Glass is UL listed glazing material.
D. Maximum allowable glass area:2 Hours, 100 sq. in. Per door leaf (Fire lite)

Hardware

As standard we equip every door with galvanized steel hinges, locksets and high quality door closers. We can also send you panic push bar, fire bolts, magnetic door stoppers or other accessories as your request. Melting temperature of hardware installed in doors should be no less than 950℃.
Besides, we also have stainless steel hardware when you want.
