Terms and definitions:
Storm:
- airflow with a basic wind speed greater than 32.7m/s;
Wind-carried debris:
- objects carried by air currents in a storm;
Resistance to wind-carrying debris impact:
After the wind-carrying debris impact and passive pressure, the test piece will not be damaged beyond the prescribed damage;
Projectile:
- steel ball or wooden block used to impact the test piece;
Anti-storm device:
- a device installed, attached or fixed to the curtain wall door and window system to prevent or weaken it from being damaged by wind-carried debris in a storm.
