In terms of its digital inputs, there are six programmable isolated digital inputs, as well as two scalable analog inputs (0 V to 10 V, 0 mA to 20 mA) which can also be used as a 7th/8th digital input. Plus, it has two programmable analog outputs (0 mA to 20 mA) and three programmable relay outputs (30 V DC/5 A resistive load; 250 V AC/2A inductive load). Mechanically, its modular design is efficient and ensures the operating temperature of 0.12 kW to 75 kW is maintained at a temperature of between –10 °C to +50 °C (+14 °F to +122 °F), while 90 kW to 200 kW units maintain a temperature between 0 °C to +40 °C (+32 °F to +104 °F). As well as this, the high power density of the KEB COMBIVERT F4 ensures a compact size, while easy cable connection, mean and motor connections being separated offers optimum electromagnetic compatibility. Not only this, but it also has detachable operator panels and screwless control terminals on detachable I/O boards.

Finally, performance features are plenty and include the latest IGBT technology, a digital microprocessor control, high-quality Vector Control system, Torque control, Flying restart, Slip compensation, Automatic restart following mains failure or fault, User-definable function blocks for logic and arithmetic operations, Kinetic bufftering, Positioning ramp down, High-grade PID control for simple internal process control (autotuning), Programmable acceleration/deceleration, 0 s to 650 s, Ramp smoothing, Fast Current Limit (FCL) for trip-free operation, Fast, repeatable digital input response time, Fine adjustment using two high-resolution 10-bit analog inputs, Compound braking for controlled rapid braking, Integrated brake chopper, and four skip frequencies. Even more, this model is provided with a removable “Y” capacitor for use on IT systems.
